Seminar 43 Bloom with Confidence and Compasion: The Art of Teaching Little Minds Grow
How can Buddhist values help children grow with confidence, kindness, and respect? Elementary school teacher Ileana shares how she integrates the Three Acts of Goodness—think good thoughts, speak good words, and do good deeds—into her classroom to help young students build communication skills, mutual respect, and a sense of personal responsibility. Through stories from her own teaching, Ileana invites us to reflect on how Buddhist wisdom can nurture emotional growth and harmony in everyday school life—without ever needing to mention “Buddhism” by name.
