It has been 8 years since B&F was established. Since 2013, we have had the opportunity to practice Buddhism under the guidance of our masters, and carry out various activities. After years of hard works, the group has gradually developed into a sizable Buddhist community. In 2019, Bodhi-Friends was officially established as a non-profit organization.
In the past few years, to help more people learn about Buddhism and relax their bodies and minds, we have carried out a series of activities, including meditation retreats, doctrine study, on-line Dharma ceremonies, animal rescue, public lectures, and children education, etc.

We are now committed to establish the New Jersey Buddhist monastery. The significance of a monastery is not about the magnificent appearance. It is to promote the Dharma and carry on the wisdom of the Buddha. First of all, there must be the Dharma, sangha who are committed to propagate Dharma, and layman Buddhist practitioners who seek the Dharma. It is the harmonious combination of all these conditions that lead to the formation of a monastery. By saving just one meal or one piece of clothing, your donation will help us to establish the monastery as soon as possible.
